Admission Requirements
In addition to the university Graduate Admission requirements, the following are required for admission to the Master of Science in Anatomy. Applicants must meet the admission requirements by one of the paths below.
Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in a science related field of study.
a. Must have a 2.5 cumulative degree grade point average (GPA) or higher.
Bachelor degree or equivalent in a non-science related field of study.
a. Must have a 2.5 cumulative degree grade point average (GPA) or higher.
b. Completion of the following prerequisites with a grade of "B" or higher:
Anatomy and Physiology I
Anatomy and Physiology II
Provisional Admission: Student may be provisionally admitted to the MS Anatomy program pending completion of prerequisite course(s) with a grade point average of 3.0 with no course grades below a “B” for the first six hours in the MS Anatomy program. Students must complete the prerequisite courses prior to taking the complementary major-specific graduate course.
Incomplete Admission: Should a student not be able to provide all the required documentation for entrance into the program, at the discretion of the Dean or Associate Provost, the student may be allowed to register for one trimester . Should the student not provide the remaining documentation for admission during the first trimester , the student may not register for additional classes. Failure to provide documentation, test scores, or achieve the grade-point average required by the end of the first trimester may lead to suspension or dismissal from the university.
